How did Leeds stuff that up? For me Rogridom should be off: no attempt to play the ball, just kicked Kane in the shin.
Roman Abramovich is leaving Chelsea . Handed the club over to some trustees. https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2...source=tw&utm_medium=orgsoc&utm_campaign=none
Not really - if this from a Law and Policy Blog is anything to go by. The statement doesn't mean what the media and others have taken it to mean. https://davidallengreen.com/2022/02/the-chelsea-fc-statement-that-is-not-what-it-seems/
That article is perfectly aligned with my original thoughts when I read the statement. I studied a bit of law at university and have enough to see that the statement is legally meaningless. I should have put my term as "inconvenience".
Leeds fans sad but not surprised. Injuries hit them hard and there was no real plan B to cope with the missing players .
Liverpool, Swansea and Wales legend John Toshack is seriously ill with COVID. Wish him the best on a recovery . https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60545590
So basically Russia will still be playing but not under the National flag. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60548685 Bit like the “neutral” ROC in the Olympics.
I would have thought that there is a difference. The Olympic athletes compete as individuals. Not sure how you can organise that for a team game like football.
Today’s FIFA decision is totally unacceptable. We are not interested in participating in this game of appearances. Our stance remains intact: Polish National Team will NOT PLAY with Russia, no matter what the name of the team is.
