I can see that there will be calls for GA out before too long. We are nowhere near Championship level. Outplayed nearly every game
Lose at home to Cambridge on Tuesday he should go,the Couhigs want us in The Championship next season but that won't happen,Ainsworth has become too comfortable and complacent and falling out with players and changing the team every game has not helped. We will get the same cr*p interview later that i can't be arsed to watch or i'll smash my computer screen.
Be careful what you wish for! I agree this seems to have developed over the Stewart / Taff disappearance and the lack of a settled back line. I think we also failed with our January business by not adding one or two more. Wing seems fairly ineffective so far and doesn’t really look like an Ainsworth player. I think we have perhaps raised our expectations somewhat over the last season or two and I don’t believe we are championship quality or have the depth at the moment. I’d give him one more summer window to improve the squad and then believe we should be aiming for promotion
yep we change that defence and have 4 key players coming back from injury mainly McGeady, Broadhead and Willis Wigan will be ****ting themselves now we are back ! top 2 for us we have the best midfield in this division by a mile.
I agree somewhat with Blue Slasher be careful what you wish for in football, what is most annoying going back to the Sunderland game, Morecambe, Cheltenham, Wigan & Stanley we were in the lead in all of these games, not only have we only gained 2pts from a winning position from a possible 15pts we have also managed to let in 17 goals which a couple of seasons would have been unheard of, our problem then scoring
Don’t panic just yet. We are in the healthiest position we have ever been in. I know we were in the championship last season but as most would agree we weren’t ready for it and somehow almost stayed up. A blip in form is normal somewhere through the season. The defending needs sorting obviously and hopefully Taff will sure it up on his return. Anywhere inside the top ten would suit me, obviously playoffs would be great.
This chap posted something fairly similar on our board earlier in the season just because we were above them at the time. He and the rest of the board members went suicidal recently and everybody had given up on Sunderland. Him included. Now they have won a few points suddenly they are Champions League contenders again. Give it a few more weeks and I'd guess they will be whipping themselves again. I bet he still gets excited when he hears an Ice Cream Van on a Sunday morning.
