Sounds good on paper but if you watch the QPR equaliser back, that's exactly how we conceded. He comes in to help, Greaves passes the man to him, he doesn't notice and the guy ends up not marked by anyone when the ball comes in. I'm not saying it's wrong that Jones can be useful in there, really just making the point that like with so many of these tactical things we can talk about, the actual reality of how it plays out on the field is often very different from how it 'should' work on paper.
Very true but that was in a 433/4231 so one centre back would never go over to deal with the overload.
