With Wolves I was surprised they didn’t get dismantled the same way we did , particularly given the payout agents get when their players transfer. However we’ll they’re doing I’m glad I’m not a wolves fan. So boring to watch , and constantly rolling on the floor As for Newcastle fixture congestion - I hope we smash them
Some finish that I was about to ask what score would be interesting to see here. Another multi goal stuffing for Leeds will certainly be good to see
Apparently Phillips and Bamford are back for the Villa match. Might be getting a bit late given they will lose this and lose away to Leicester next week
Leeds are in real trouble. I see the last relegation spot being potentially between them and Brentford unless one of the clubs around them totally **** up their games in hand. What’s annoying me (as always) is that prat Hoddle going on about how Spurs can now sit deep and play on the break. That’s the ONLY way Spurs can play. They always play on the break using the speed of Son and their wingbacks. I don’t think they know how to play any other way. Leeds are allowing them far too much room so they can chip over the top. It’s something that Saints did so well …..
Kind of funny how last season's media darlings yet this season's second season syndrome patients, are now trapped being publicly exhibited getting absolutely spanked every week. Due to the Sky and BTs overly optimistic expectations.
Spurs sitting back, in itself, is a risky option because on many occasions Leeds have been very close to getting back into the game. The only real difference between the teams is that when Spurs get a chance, they take it, but defensively they are fairly equal.
Who were last season’s media darlings ? Or have I incorrectly assumed you are talking about two teams and both of those descriptions are for Leeds ?
Surely the problem with Leeds is the style they play and have done for 4 years means that even if they sacked their manager what could a new one really change in a short period of time ?
God, the Relegation Spaces are spoilt for choice this year. Leeds, Everton and Norwich are all really, really bad. Burnley and Watford must be thinking that they have a really good chance at squeaking through.
Watford will be kicking themselves for not appointing Roy earlier. I'm not too convinced about his ability to pull a side out of trouble (that great escape with Fulham aside), but he's absolutely capable of keeping a side (just) out of trouble in the first place. They'd probably be just above Brentford if he had come in rather than Ranieri.
