    Crimea 2014 : Biden = VP. Ukraine today : Biden = P.

< no orange man, no cry >

Putin has declared that Ukraine is an historical aberration,
and that return to Russia is the correction.

And he is challenging outsiders, senile or bellicose,
to do anything to the contrary.

Strange that Trump was never at least asked the question,
as you would expect, being Russia "bought and paid for"
and all that, yet "toe to toe" Biden has been asked the
    question twice.

Might be because Trump was trying to pull the US out of NATO.
That would completely remove the organ grinder, by your own claim.
Then Putin could do whatever he wanted without fear of retribution or support for Ukraine.
He was also trying to get Russia back into the G7.

    Is that so ??

I only know of Trump shouting the odds about NATO members
poncing off the USA by not meeting their treaty financial
obligations (nation military budget as some % of GDP) .

Did he threaten to pull the USA out over non-compliance ??

Not specifically about non-compliance actually, but there seems little doubt that if he had got a 2nd term that would have been high on his agenda.

That appears to be the claim and fear.

Nothing to worry too much about though.
The military might of the current EU *** should be enough
to deal with Russia without needing the USA.

*** well perhaps they would need UK military aid

Hardly the first purge we've seen under Starmer and his narrow confessional booth, but for some reason there hasn't been a single centrist think piece about this...

The one that sticks out for me is the airline blocking

The UK banned Aeroflot from UK airspace, which basically inconveniences that bloke off Airport and nobody else
Russia banned all British airlines from Russian airspace, which does a real number on BA's chances of flying their usual routes to the Far East, Australia or New Zealand

Amazing how quickly Ben Wallace went from blathering about the Crimean War and how easily our boys will put the Russians back in their box to flat out stating that British troops won't be sent to Ukraine...

"NATO’s acts of aggression both historical and present are a threat to all of our safety”
If that's their response to Russia invading Ukraine, then they've got serious issues.
The Corbynite loyalists are wildly out of touch with reality, let alone the voting public.
They're free to join him on the fringes as independent voters. All three dozen of them.

So what's the excuse for Starmer blocking their conference last year with almost zero notice ahead of time then? Or how their leader was one of the numerous Labour members who were told they were out in the midnight purges a few months ago?

Sure, everybody's a Corbynite and you can't criticise Keith for anything...
