In reality there's literally nothing that can be done about it.

If Russia wants to cuck Ukraine, stepping in to interfere will achieve nothing. If China was to cuck Taiwan, interfering will do **** all.

Super powers get there way and WW3 starts when super powers start fighting each other.

Smaller countries unfortunately are vulnerable to being bigger country's bitches.

Powerful people dominate and the only thing that can stop them is other powerful people, but that risks huge conflict that may not be worth it.

It's like seeing the Mafia or Cartel kill a bunch of people, but the police will do nothing about it or risk bigger conflict that will lead to far more casualties.

Power is survival and getting what you want. Simple as. You can only hope those in power have empathy, but many are psychopathic.

I may be wrong, but Ukraine should have agreed to not join NATO and signed something to that effect. NATO = USA. Why should the US get such a strong position? Ukraine should have stayed separate, but politically closer to Russia. This conflict was completely avoidable. Yes, Putin is deplorable, but we've known that for 20 years, what the **** did anyone expect him to do?

This is about supporting the views of the US. Putin's actions are utterly wrong, don't mistake what I'm saying, but all of this is avoidable. We're supporting a pointless war; nobody can, or will, get involved.

Yeah, we may just have to accept the fact that a lot of people in that area think Ukraine is a part of Russia, and losing it to US influence is too much of a loss/threat to Russia.

Ukraine will either be a US weapon or a Russian one.

    What u think of below?

    Post from a ukrainian -

    There won't be any insurgency.
My grandparents lived in Donbas. I was raised in Dnepr not far from it. Despite all the bs you hear from the Western media about the insurgency, about how Ukrainians are going to fight and all of that, it's all horsechit. Watching clowns like Chuck Schumer talk about 'resilience' of Ukrainian people and their will to fight is just pure cringe. Besides the far Western Ukrainians, Russia to Ukraine is like Australia to New Zealand, if not closer. How do you think Russia is managing to glide through Ukraine so quickly? All the bs you hear from Zelensky is a joke, the guy is literally a puppet comedian if he thinks Ukrainian civilians are going to die over him and American interests, a large majority of Ukrainian people hate Americans.

I just hope it all ends quickly, hopefully this clown gets knocked down and Russia retreats back. Preferably we can have a neutral leader who can be a bridge between East and West. Despite all the clowns here talking about Putin wanting USSR, I think Putin would be quite happy with Ukraine not joining NATO. But the problem is, US would not settle for that, they want war, they want conflict. Anything that hurts Russia is a win for US. Divide and conquer. Anything that pushes Russia away from the rest of Europe is a win. It's shame that Russia has been pushed into this. People have little idea of what Ukrainian government has been doing in the east and how they have turned the area into a hole. It used to be a good place to live.
I am not going to sit here and defend anyone, war is bad regardless but I hate the one sided hypocrisy. US has literally used the same strategy in every country. Destabilize the government, sell some dream idea, revolution, install a puppet, rinse and repeat. Everything US touched turned to chit, not a single nation turned out to be good after their 'democracy'.
I think it's about time someone stood up, we need more balance across the world, not someone like US with 800+ bases across the world running Coup missions in every part of the world is not a long term strategy for world peace.

For every post like that , there will be a polar opposite and vice versa, ask someone in Kiev
No one can dispute that they are vastly different opinions in Ukraine itself
However, it is nothing other than a country which rules itself, votes for its leaders itself and runs itself
    That’s what Putin hates

The view from Dnipro: Fortifications dug to block advance
please log in to view this image

    Sarah Rainsford

    BBC Eastern Europe Correspondent

We headed to the central city of Dnipro last night from Donbas in eastern Ukraine, where Russian troops are expected to advance and have been clashing with Ukrainian troops along the front line there.

The front line in Donbas has been pretty fixed for eight years, but Russian forces are now attempting to move forward and take much more territory. Yesterday we heard sporadic explosions throughout the day.

About 7,000 people from Donbas have taken special trains west to relative safety. We also saw lots of cars from Donbas on the roads.

As we passed one significant town, Pavlograd, we saw soldiers and workmen with heavy machinery building a massive checkpoint. They were laying big concrete blocks and putting down sandbags and preparing to fortify that city in an attempt to stop any Russian advance westwards across the country.

Dnipro is a strategic city on the Dnieper river. There has been fighting to the south of here and also to the north in the city of Kharkiv. People are worried about what the future holds.

We're not there. At the end of the day it will sink in at some point that in a war against Russia, Ukraine has literally no chance. No a snowballs chance in hell.

Unless another super power steps in and risks it all, which wont happen.

Russia will send in it's pawns to see if it's enough, but eventually Russia will conquer.

Ukrainian's will put up a show of force but I guarantee Ukraine will officially surrender at some point. The western countries will go on about "sanctions", to make it look like they're putting up a fight, but it will be of little use.

Putin is not an idiot. He would have calculated the consequences and prepared for sanctions, but we'll have to prepare for the economic hit of being cut off from Russia as well.

    Don’t follow the logic.

Ukraine is an independent country with essentially democratic government. Bottom line is that it is for the Ukraine to decide what it wants to do whether that is to join NATO or not and not Russia.

Russia may not like it but international law protects the Ukraine’s right to self govern and Russia should not be allowed to get away with this. Russia knows it is breaking international law and hence why we get the acknowledgment of independence for two areas of the Ukraine followed by the sending in of a “peace keeping “ force. Strange how that “peace keeping “ force is currently not in the “independent “ areas.

it turns the people against the beast mate.

Revolutions happen when ordinary people want to change their circumstances.

the west can make damm sure the Russian people’s circumstances are worse than ever.

deprive them of everything they like.

    **** them.

    then **** them some more.

like the Germans in the 30’s the Russians put that beast into power (initially).

If Ukraine had joined NATO that was always going to be a huge issue for Russia. They would have the US on their doorstep and that was never going to happen on Putins watch.

The invasion itself is not justified though. He has lied about the intentions. It never was about peace. It was about winning the land battle of the Ukraine.

Ukraine is a valuable asset. Both financially and strategically.

And I think something cataclysmic needs to happen for the invasion to stop. An historic event of the highest proportions would only be able to stop Putin.

He has played his cards and he is gone all in.

As far as I'm concerned, it's all potentially bollocks, I don't know who to believe at this point.

I just see all sides and let people make their own mind up.

Watch actual UK news videos mate where screaming kids flee the rain of Russian missiles. Look at the satellite images.

Putin is a master of misinformation and said he wasn’t going to invade….
