Fair comment . My main concern over all this is someone ( from any nuclear power ) with issues , just deciding to push THE button .
Yes that's the thing, but these rich arseholes still want their to be somewhere they can spend their money, so I'm not sure that will happen. Fingers crossed a settlement is reached...
FFS watching parliament live and some daft prick has just warned that "The people of Norwich stand shoulder to shoulder with the Ukraine" ......... Can see Putin ordering the retreat this very moment
That child’s cries sends shivers through me. Roy’s right about the UK having caused similar cries throughout the Middle East…. and I stayed quiet; that’s a tough one to rationalise to myself so I won’t try. This was heartbreaking, thanks for sharing, Tash. A “Not606 Pals Battalion” inches closer
We are not even a top 15 side when it comes to actual forces. We shouldn’t be involved in a fight we cannot win. These sanctions are just itches on the foot in some respects to Putin. If Russia sizers control of Ukraine they will have the largest army in the world and also the financial clout to back it up. It also means they would have central control in terms of area position in Europe. And he isn’t doing this “just” for Ukraine. That’s just the beginning.
These Russian ****s can burn in hell. We should kick all of their diplomats out and kick them off the UN Security council... of which they are the chair right now... ****s.
The world can come together to kick them out. The world should boycott Russian goods and football should kick Russian teams out of all competition. Cut the lot of the cowards off from the world. No reversals… until that **** is ousted.
They have control of Chernobyl. They are also close to the Polish border. They set foot across or a stray missile goes into Poland it is World War III.
“Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer said in a TV address on Thursday that Vladimir Putin’s “bandit rule” must fail. He said it “must be a turning point in our history", adding: "We must look back and say that this terrible day was actually when Putin doomed himself to defeat.” those 11 signatures are just 11 people we may disagree with - they are not “the Labour Party” nor are they “Labour Party policy” - lest we forget, the Conservative Party’s stance is currently “some economic sanctions”
