Said it before and will repeat it. Everyone around Putin is a weak buffoon, I was shocked to see how pathetic Sergei their chief spy was on national TV. He rules a group of lackies through fear, supported by his Oligarchs, who he relies on. When he goes, when he dies, whatever. That system will collapse.

I can't remember ever seeing a public figure so clearly terrified when speaking publicly. We think our politicians are cautious in case of losing votes. You could see the knowledge in his eyes that one wrong answer would see him losing more than votes!
If he does try to do that then we will be involved. Before he gets to that point though, I'm not sure it will be as easy for him in Ukraine as he imagines. His tanks can roll across the country easy enough, but that is very different to gaining control. He never managed to win the Chechen war militarily and had to compromise with the muslim rebels to get the war to end (and that area is a complete ****show now). None of the superpowers have a great track record in occupying places that don't want them to be there.
I've had somewhat of a change of heart after seeing a few people being blown up.. It's not my problem I don't want ww3, but we have to do something. If they call up the general public I'd be there
He won’t stop unless he’s stopped, and nobody except Mother Nature is likely to do that. So Putin will do what he wants and everyone else will just have to suck it up. There’ll be sanctions, it’ll hit their economy, there’ll be a football match rescheduled; but the likes of Putin don’t worry about their vote-share at the next election for very good reasons. We live in an ever-worsening ****show of a world. Look after yourselves lads
