Leeds going doing without a fight. Still, at least they run around a lot.

By the same token, the Burnley escape currently looks "on."

Have Yorkshire clubs got something against staying in the PL? Leeds look likely.to go after only two seasons following Sheffield United, Hull and Huddersfield.

Perhaps there was something in those comments about how much they benefitted from breaks in the seasons ?

I’d be delighted if it were Everton or Leeds.

I’d be extra delighted if it were Newcastle

The dream relegation trío would be Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea!!! Sadly, it looks like Norwich, Watford and Leeds.

No way Norwich don't go imo. It'd be hilarious if Leeds were the ones to join them and Watford.

I`ve been impressed with Saints business in the transfer market lately - but hats off to Burnley - offload Chris Wood for 25m, and bring in Weghorst for half the dosh.

Yeah I can’t see Norwich escaping nor Watford actually - I think they have some good attacking players & Hodgson will make a difference but a little too late, me thinks. So Burnley, Brentford or Leeds. Would love, love it, I say, love if ….. NU or Everton went but

OK, this is fantasy land, but if (IF) the 'big' teams mentioned above were to be relegated, Sky's contract with the Premier League would be 'challenging' - do their cameras follow the big clubs into the Championship, or would they continue to provide full coverage of, say, Burnley v Norwich, on the same day that Man U play Liverpool in the lower league?
I suspect that money would talk, and Sky would cover Man U v Liverpool, even in the Isthmian League, as there would still be a worldwide audience for the big-name clubs.

    I think:

    Norwich, Brentford, Watford.

    I would like:

    Newcastle, Leeds & one other.

The one other would have been Everton, but I like Frank Lampard, so I will let them finish 4th from bottom. Maybe the one other is Burnley as we never seem to win there.

Because Spurs don't win trophies and like the rest of the PL.are fodder for these three trophy winning teams. I know Manchester United have only won two since Ferguson retires; that is two todo many. As for Manchester City, I sense their time at the top.is not so permanent as the three I have highlighted, so let them fill their trophy cabinet in the meantime!

I partially agree, however should Manchester United continue to remain trophyless, their worldwide support will drop off somewhat, as there will be a surge of support for another team (probably Liverpool) as they look unbeatable in the CL and could well overtake Manchester City in the PL. I don't know if Manchester City have the same lure. Are there many youngsters walking around Southampton with Manchester City shirts or is it the usual suspects?

I will be watching the Brentford v Newcastle game on Saturday, to see if Newcastle’s newfound momentum can overcome a Christian Eriksen inspired Brentford.
