Definitely! We wouldn’t want him ending up like Meikayla Moore playing for New Zealand vs USA!

Nah, Stu will smash one from 25ydsd and it'll be all on!

Feeling confident going into this that the team will be well up for it. I'd be happy with the same line-up as lst time out but if Perraud is available and recovered I'd play him and KWP on the R with a view to push him up to the 10 again giving tino the chance to run at tired players later in the game. Broja's goals have dried up and he's looking like a player who is thinking too much and making the wrong decision at the moment. The pressure to score is a heavy load. I'd start him but if he's not ripping them up, I'd pull him early and get Adz Armstrong on for some minutes.

The early goal in the reverse fixture didn't help!

I've always been a big subscriber to the 'early goal' theory against packed defences but genuinely don't feel it's as important with this current team due to having different options and being harder to beat.

As long as we're in games and making chances I'm always confident we'll score one eventually at the moment which is a weird feeling.

Even weirder is seeing an away side 5/1 to win at St Marys and not thinking it's good value <laugh>

Really helps that we've gotten back to turning pressing into a means to generate immediate chances, rather than a means to generate possession that we then cycle endlessly. It's so much easier to find passing lanes and finish chances when you aren't going 2v5.

Can't you set yourself up as a charitable foundation (Saints Opponents)? Or a government department?

Even if he had scored all 8 goals.

Match threads are always quieter when we’re winning. What’s to say?

    Team? Same as last game

    Nothing to moan about

    No one to sack

    No new injuries

So here’s a graphic of Xg compared to shot distance. Apparently just as Saints have started to shoot from distance a lot of top teams have stopped. But they haven’t got Prowsey have they

Anyone thinking of shouting SHOOT when Oriels got the ball should take note though

Does anyone know if I need to do anything COVID related before the game so I can get into the stadium or is is all back to normal now? Don’t want to make the long journey down only to find out I needed a COVID passport or something! Thanks

Of our last 13 league games only 3 are v top 8 teams and they are all at home

    This is getting interesting

Hopefully our better run of form results in less fatigue and less injuries as we don’t have options for all positions

Defence has good cover, midfield and attack less so

Straight back into the starting line up for Tino imo - assuming he has fully recovered from covid of course.

It certainly gives Ralph a dilemma. KWP is frankly un-droppable right now so it's either Tino or Perraud. And I think Perraud just edges it.

For some reason I thought he was older than 24. He really is growing into quite a player.
