Yeah he doesn't get caught because.....HE IS GOOD AT IT!! Mate, Samuel (world's slowest player) better than Vidic cos Vidic is too slow? You're having a laugh right? You also know that Pique was sold by Man Utd cos he wasn't as good as Vidic? You're probably also gonna tell me that you're a better judge of player than SAF. He is the best defender in the division, probably top 5 in the world (in which I wouldn't include T.Silva or Samuel - Samuel not even close)

I agree with most of these though - Lampard and Barry particularly!! Not sure I agree about Gervinho, it's too early to tell.

I'm gonna put my neck on the line and be controversial and say Lionel Messi as although some of the stuff he does for Barca is magical at times, I don't think he has ever had a good or even decent performance for Argentina, which makes me think that his feats for Barca are more down to Iniesta and Xavi.

Also, people saying Maradona is better than Pele, look at the stats, they are incomparable, Pele was incredible for SO many years he played many more games than Maradona and was a much better professional. He also was far more prolific in front of goal.

I don't think Messi can be judged as being better than Maradona as he is only half way through his career and who knows what will happen in the future, maybe he will go off the boil and disappear...you never know!

Pique is overrated, he is liable to make mistakes and his positional sense isn't that good either, the onlt thing that makes him look good is that he plays for Barca and Spain

Walter Samuel is complete crap and has been since he went to Madrid (to a better league) he couldn't handle the pace of the league, he was always out of position and was too slow hence why he only lasted a season there before he went back to Italy

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Ronaldo was better than Maradona. He is honestly the best player I have watched play (Pele was before my time)

 

Maybe not the best all round player but certainly the best finisher the game has ever seen.

He was the complete player during his Inter Milan days and still could of been if it weren't for injuries

 

There is only one Ronaldo. The other 'Ronaldo' is not Ronaldo, he is Cristiano Ronaldo. And yes I agree completely, it was a massive shame that he couldn't stay fit. Of course, much like Maradona, staying off the sauce and charlie probably would have helped!

Emile Heskey. How does, arguably, one of the worst EPL strikers EVER, get 62 caps for England, and still get chosen at Villa at the age of 33? With 9 goals in 71 apps at Villa, and 7 goals in 62 apps with England, he is utterly atrocious, however 'unselfish' he may claim to be.
