I think it may be Johansen playing ahead of Hendrick and Field in a midfield 3.
    3-5-2.

Can't accuse Warbs of not trying something different, that's for sure.

Ive no problem with this approach to be honest. Austin and gray might but **** it. Just been talking to one of my Leeds mates about not playing with a striker. He says theyve done it all ****ing season!!!

Don't see alot of goals in that lineup unfortunately, barring the front 2. There certainly won't be alot of crosses going in which is a shame, just looks a bit negative to me. I'm sure Blackpool will be thrilled not to see a proper number 9 on our teamsheet

I suggested this on another post, thought it would be worth a go, will find out shortly! Would still have liked Amos instead of Hendrick but almost ideal for me, queue a heavy loss!

The whole reason why this can work is that we never cross the ball for a big no.9 to head in(Reading excepted)

I do wonder whether it's harder to pick up Chair and Willock when they're just behind in the 10 position.
I suppose they could take it in turns to be the furthest forward etc.

    Will be interesting.

That it will pal, i just hope they dont actually try to play as forwards but instead have the freedom to do anything

He’ll ponce about on the right wing unless we’re 2-0 up in which case he’ll be the star man.

Years ago i spent time at Ajax watching and taking part in coaching sessions and seminars. Was a real eye opener, where players would train in just about every position. They believed it gave players the appreciation of what they expected from others on the pitch.

I took this philosophy to America to train what became the first professional womens team in North Carolina. Was a huge success.

Now what Warbs is attempting is easier said than done. Something that really takes time and patience on a coaching field. Im presuming hes instructed chair and willock to do as they please, literally.

Warburton isn’t planning to shag Chair though. Or is he?
