Yes it could’ve gone ahead on Boxing Day when it was originally scheduled to be played and ruined that instead There would’ve been no hiding place. Can’t think of much worse than having to play happy families after watching us lose heavily
Bielsa must play Gelhardt from the off tonight , Van Dick hates players running at him and if Bielsa has not spotted this then I really do fear the worst. Dump Harrison on the bench and Dan James to run at Dreadlock Trent, Raphinha to man up and rip another arse in the Jockroach Robertson, I hope who takes the pens is up to speed, please don’t tell me it Klich cos I think we might get one tonight.
Im staying sober for this one, saving myself for Sat and the 12.30 ko.............long and messy day.
I thought it would be sunday because we were playing today. But the top six only get the extra days rest then.
Tottenham play tonight as well, but last played Saturday, so slightly easier schedule. Liverpool not done too badly out of it, Saturday-Wednesday-Sunday
Wouldn’t surprise me to see wins for Watford and Burnley tonight… which would liven things up a bit. Tonight is a free hit in principle for us, but most likely a damage limitation exercise… not that we tend to do damage limitation After tonight we have a run of games where there are points to be won if we can get our fckg act together.
