Defoe will never score in this side. Our creativity into feet is non existent.

We won't get play offs. This club needs a rebuild. Neil isn't it. Seen that already. Harsh but true. His 12 month rolling contract will be rolled into the bin in the summer

Disagree with that. Form was patchy from October onwards but always looked like there was the potential for an upturn. Things have only dropped off the cliff edge since the club **** their pants after the Bolton game. They panicked at that point and lost their focus which is what has caused the spiral. Although I think the shift in transfer focus that the Defoe signing represents might be the moment that they began to take their eye off the ball.

Is the problem we are trying to shoehorn Pritchard into the side at the detriment of the team?

Hes a brilliant 10, but we can't afford a brilliant 10 as it leaves us short elsewhere.

    Something had to give

Come on the pre season do gooders that shot me down every post for having an opinion till Sept 1st for not spending hardly a penny compared to the rebuild we needed with a new Billionaire owner!
What have yous got to say now with this shower of shyte and still barely a bean spent in getting us out of this league???

The words you kept using was 'the plan'.

we have won 8 in 27 since the end of october. That’s not patchy. It’s bottom 6 form

things have got worse since Bolton but that’s because we are now in bottom 1 form rather than bottom 6

It’s time for protests IMO. This club has been a shambles for a long time and people are happy to accept it. It isn’t ‘mag like’ - it’s called giving a ****!

So what happens then? We can’t keep sacking managers. Think others need sacking before Neil

Is it correct to say we have skipped a new manager bounce and went straight into a slump?

It's easier and more convenient to sack one manager as opposed to a squad of players.

new manager bounce is all about momentum and new confidence. The club intentionally avoided that with its recruitment strategy

Wigan will batter us on Saturday, bar Stewart & Pritchard there’s nothing there.
How on earth Clarke can’t get a start is beyond me.
I’m always optimistic but they’ve finally broke me, just had a quick look at our fixtures and I reckon that’s us done. We will finish 8th or 9th.

Honestly mate. I mean this out of the best of places.

Rid of them all. They have shown and will not cut it. Speakman , Dodds and English. Waffle merchants.

Neil. Jury out. But last 3 games and team selection with systems have been the worst I have ever seen as a sunderland home and bread lad.

You'll always have runs of poor form. The squad needed bolstering and that should have started in January which would/should have negated that statistic. Instead of signing the players we needed, they started looking at Defoe and signing 427 wingers. Then, as I say, they **** their pants after the Bolton game.

I agree lets see if he continues to learn from his mistakes, I'm not saying this in a negative way, we need to play wide men wide, this does not include Embleton or Pritchard the are central behind Stewart one or the other , its Pritch for me with Embo as cover, due to shocking decisions not of Alex making we need to play Bartt in for Callum and go from there. Not sure whether we play a 4 or 3 at the back it depends on availability but the defence is our main problem, and as for Evans we were better off with Grant imo..
