It “worked” because we played teams in the top 6, sat back and played on the break. We haven’t won a game since changing to this formation so can you explain how it’s “working”? We’re now playing the bottom side where we need midfield dominance and to take the game to them and we’re being taken apart. McCann persisted with this formation for weeks and we were in the bottom 3. We then shifted to a 5 due to injuries and looked far more balanced. Not at all sure how you can argue that this is purely player skill based
Just long balls to a weak-as-piss forward. Midfield can’t get a string of passes together. Huddlestone needs to come on at half-time.
We are famous for helping the needy,Peterborough, Palace, Leicester, Birmingham and sure there's more. Add Barnsley to that list.
What is this tactic of lumping it forward to one striker against 3 defenders .. the same striker who doesn't win headers ? We need to start passing the fkn thing through midfield, get Thudd on
Why are we looking for a long ball every time? We can’t pass 4 yards accurately. 40-50 yards we’ve no chance.
How to get your fans back and watching your team... I wonder how many are on their phones or already in the concourse queue,...
I don’t think your average pub team would hoof the ball aimlessly from the first whistle every time they got possession. Need to get a grip here.
