AN not scared of making 'those type of calls' then, good to see he is giving the squad a chance to prove themselves.

i might revert to last season and stop watching the games and change my computer LED's back to red and white (we went on our 12 game unbeaten run when i did that last season) if we lose/dont win tonight.

gawd, talk about straw clutching eh?

I was reading down that teamsheet thinking oh no, why! Then I see Defoe and honestly I felt a hint of excitement. As people know I was and am against the Defoe signing. I really hope he proves me wrong tonight and for the rest of the season. Tonight in particular I think the place needs a lift, a start and performance from him may be the answer. Some throw of the dice by Neil, he has my backing, hope it works.

Pritchard needs to be in the hole not out wide. But with 2 up top I can't see it happening.

Sorry you said he was the first name.

I didn't realise you were guessing.

    My mistake.

With Defoe, Pritchard and Stewart the only tactic should be giving them the ball ASAP as often as possible.

I think he sees it that he has to get Pritchard in no matter what. Having said that, that could still be a 433 with Gooch and Defoe either side of Stewart.

Agree on Gooch. Think he gets a lot of stick from the fans because of this. Others hide and don't help the lads like Gooch who continue to show for the ball then ultimately have no one to pass too as the others make themselves unavailable to receive the ball.

This. Absolutely ridiculous. Square pegs in round holes again. Overload the squad with wingers in January and don't play any of them.

Pleased to see their top scorer, Jebbison, has been recalled to Sheff Utd.
