Suarez is the best I’ve ever seen in a red shirt and could have been the best ever but he fooked off and the rest is history.

I find it hard to compare current players with the older, multi title winning teams. Sir Kenny, Rush et al were miles ahead of their time but the game is so much different now.

Stevie G carried Liverpool through some barren years and I only wish that Klopp has been with us 5 years sooner, for his sake. Salah could eclipse them all if he signs and delivers for another 3 or 4 years.

This is going to sound mad, but my favourite time of watching Liverpool and the most amazing football was the season we finished second with Suarez.

    The guy could do anything.

He didn't take penalties and missed something like the first 5 matches of the season for biting someone and still tied the goalscorer record (now beaten by Salah).

He would have smashed it if available all season.

He raised everyone’s level that year. Shame that Brod’s arrogance sent us out like he did against Chelsea <doh>

That's probably the best PL season that anyone has ever had.

when chelsea go bust and get relegated..... (and assume the players on frees this summer are gone, Azpi and rudiger) .... which players would you pick up for a song from the former russian dictatorship?

Mount would suit klopp big time. It'd take a bit to make him actually work as RCM but i suppose even @Jimmy Squarefoot wouldn't mind him.

kante is prob too old and too injury prone now but he's one.

the rest are either spoiled rotten already (pulisic and havertz) or so damaged its not worth it (werner)

I would say mendy but tbh we have two better than him.

Just seeing the inevitable implosion of chelsea as a topic.

Putin looks like he has lost his mind and is rambling and ranting like hitler in a bunker.

RA could have his assets frozen ;)

but then again as an Israeli citizen he and his other oligarchs will be trying hard to keep half of london out of being frozen as will their tory slaves.

If this gets bad enough half the tory party will be exposed as being on the pay roll of putin via his oligarchs.

I think Chelsea owe Abramovich £1.5b. If he has his accounts frozen and wants his money back, how do Chelsea pay him back?

I will volunteer to accept it on his behalf and pay it to him in due course once he is back in the good books.....for 10% of course. I have my overheads!

If his accounts are frozen then nothing changes, its frozen.

If it goes to administrators they sell it off cheaply and RA loses at lot of money.

If he's in needs of cash himself and decides to sell, he'll have to cut his losses because he's never recouping it.

He's not going to bankrupt the club as he'll walk away with nothing.

It's all a bit complicated isn't it. Like all these stories that start out as sensationalist, nothing will come of it.
