No, have you been hitting them hard lately? Sunshine Beach is 100/1 at bet365 but 50/1 at Paddy Power and Betfred.
https://www.theguardian.com/society...how-bookies-clamp-down-on-successful-gamblers I was put onto the products of Mike Cruikshank many years ago. Matched betting. Initially it was taking advantage of new account offers. Open an account with bookie, place bet, receive at least one free bet to a similar account. Not a fortune but I made a good few quid. However when it came to one group, after the first success, move on to the next, I did not even mange to complete the registration. Next plan, move into refunds on losing bets. The best ones were one team in an acca lets you down, bet refund. Free bets flying in left right and centre, until Ladbrokes and uncle billys gave me the no,no. His software also threw up arbs, back and lay. The members forum was of the opinion that the bookies would get you one day, so just go for it. I did. I am now left with Sky, severely restricted stakewise, Bet365, no free bets. Oh, I can lose as much as I like in their casino, games section, but put a decent amount on a horse? Nah. The bookie that said &^**^%$%^&*** off before completing registration was, Paddy Power. Owner of Betfair.

Lady Tremaine for me as well. Brian Hughes is going all out to reach 200 winners for the season. I am working on the premise that all his future rides will be on honest triers. No malarky, schooling in public, or get some weight off it for a future handicap. Awfully decent of his agent to turf out the rubbish from his booked rides.
I can't recall which specific company, but I got a freebie to start on one, and messed up my bet, selecting a very long shot, that actually came in. They refused to pay out on the bet and kicked me off the site, claiming it looked suspicious. I've also got at least one account that limits what they'll let me put on an individual bet, which is annoying. It's not as I I gamble big or often.
I did Match Betting as well, and have had completely the opposite experience - the only one I have still standing is Paddy Power. Best promotion for me was Bet365 2UP where they paid out if your team went 2 goals ahead - made a load until they banned me. Use Smarkets for my usual gambling, and Paddys is the only one I can still take advantage of. Has anyone tried doing the extra places for racing with Match Betting? I've read you can make a lot, but it seems like you need to be really on the ball to lay the bets.
2 Up was, maybe still is, a big thing for some match bettors. Back and lay a team. Go 2 up 365 pay out. But, when the other team come away with a draw or win, boom, you win the lay bet. Not a frequent outcome so the qualifying losses can build up. And, yes, 365 told me to do one from that offer as well. The days of arbs a plenty look like they are long gone. People, ie Cruickshank, will still be trying to find the edge. But, anybody reading this and thinking, ooooh risk free punting, yep I'm in. It will be short lived. By all means give it a go, make a good few quid, then as the gubbings hit, move on to the next thing. But just how the *'&&£&***' you have kept Paddy Piwer is beyond belief. Good luck with them.
Extra place betting was a by product of arbing place bets. With short priced favourites in a race the other runners place prices were shorter than the 1/5 1/4 odds bookies paid out on. With extra places, you win the bookie place bet and the exchange lay bet. That is the only variation on that theme I have seen. The scheme you mention seems more reactive trading as opposed to arbing, back-lay and forget.
