I agree, better not lose is most important, but you have to go out with the mindset of going for the win. None of this sitting back and playing for a draw, and inviting teams onto us.

 

How have you managed to not pay for them over the last 6-7 years?

Barnsley apparently is the only team that hasn't won a game away from home this season. Just saying like.

 

Tonight’s the night then! East stand to roar out a good Happy Birthday chorus, I’ll try and get South Stand to join in, a win, 3 points, and the nights a good ‘un. Easy. Hopefully.

Oh no kiss of death, worst case during the three day week city played during the day midweek and Carlisle came and hadn’t won for ages - result if I am right City-0 Carlisle -2
Hated teams in blue always beat us - Carlisle , Birmingham , Cardiff , Portsmouth - Hiron, Warboys , Toshack etc

 

I still have an awful memory of going to Barnsley in 2013, with a big following expecting a win, which would help us secure promotion and we lost 2-0 in a terrible performance, and we finally got there on that famous afternoon against Cardiff with a 2-2 draw.

 

Good luck with getting south stand to join in! Do you remember when the announcer used to introduce each stand?! So cheesy but reminds me of good times.

At the end of the Cardiff game, yes.

No, I reckon we've got a stouter spine these days, play on the front foot, protect Cartwright, we win 3-0. Might even have a bet on Greaves scoring!

 

That was nearly the best awayday I've ever been on. Every train standing room only. Getting put in that bar before that was more like a night club. The huge escort walking down that hill and cheering to the sight of the already bouncing away ened and them cheering us back.

Then the game kicked off...

 

Hull City 1-2 Barnsley

 

Exactly, the lead-up to the game starting was great, then as you say the KO, and within 4 minutes we are 1-0 down, and went down hill from there.

 

At least I can watch on sky. Bloody Covid

 

We know what comes next then hahah!
