In particularly for Brentford as their 3-5-2 formation allows us to leave Maxi further up without having to worry about tracking back, Joelinton, Targett and Burn will be able to hold the left side of the pitch while Maxi can stay higher up for the counter. Him and Fraser supporting Wood, with Willock breaking behind them and running at their back three will put the fear of god into them. They may have their FB sit back which then allows Targett license to get forwards and over lap with more freedom...

3 points would be huuuuuge this weekend! Up to 14th and looking upwards! HTL

Massive week this week, especially with the midweek games as well.

Best case scenario we could end the week in 14th - worst case we'll back back down 19th.

Crystal Palace play both Watford and Burnley, so will either do us a huge favour, OR get themselves properly dragged into the fight.

Spurs play both Leeds and Burnley, so could also do us a big, big favour.

Based on the possible outcomes, I 'think' the best and worst case scenarios would look like this:

Obviously both those 2 extreme scenarios each involve a series of results either going for or against us.

If we are looking at the extreme possibilities where is the points deduction for Everton due to being the Scouse version of Mackems?

That doesn't kick in until the end of the season Trev. Whatever number of points deduction is required for them to slip onto relegation on the final day, that's how much the points deduction will be. <cheers>

Villa in the rear view mirror will be a wonderful day - they’re just a hateful, small minded, petty annoyance of a club somehow…

Will likely end up somewhere between the two, potentially seeing us 16th. Which is fine.

Indeed. Obviously THE most important thing is that we beat Brentford and leapfrog them. That is all we really need right now.

Its a big week alright, but I think best case is Watford and Burnley each having 1 extra point and Palace being on 28 points. The bottom sides aren't catching us and that way we catch Palace quicker!

I can't understand why we have to lose the letter S, even in a worst case scenario.

We need to be clear by match day 34 by more than 3 points in my opinion. So the more wins we can get the better.

Just got to take it one game at a time... Anything can happen.

    Look at Evertons fixtures...

Agreed but we still have to look longer term for survival. The 3 games prior to Burnley away are awful.

I think by then we will probably be looking at a mid table target mind.

Everton are in complete free fall it’s fantastic.
