Nah just stick to the current plan for me. Run it like a football team for the first time in 15 years. If you are in possession of the shirt and playing well you keep your place. You play poorly regardless who you are, someone gets a chance. It'll make them all do better. Once we get better players we can probably look at horses for courses etc. At present we just should try and win as many games as we can. The best way to achieve that is to make it competitive amongst them. Shelvey will drop off at some stage anyway and Bruno will get his chance. Certainly though I think you want to give him more game time if we do get safe so his sub appearances would need to be more generous. He does need to be given time to settle into the game here. We saw on Saturday when he chucked himself on the floor at the first sign of bodily contact, didn't get nothing off the ref (rightly), he has a way to go to get used to it. As I say I think Shelvey will make this easy for Howe at some stage. Either form or sending off.
If we get to safety, we have no reason to worry about risk anymore and should definitely play Bruno because he is the greater prospect and will start at some point. We shouldn't wait until next season unless safety is achieved right at the death.
