Kokolo is ex Sunderland (although I don't think he played a first team game for us).

Although we are now ****e, I still do not know how we didn't beat Burton by 2 or 3. This reaction was over the top.

Not now though negative posts are spot on right now!

He was at fault for both goals on Saturday, the amount of times he gave the ball away was pathetic.

We're lacking experience and he stood out at QPR.

I'd have Gooch in as well so that's two choices people won't like.

However frustrating he can be he never completely vanishes the way Neil and Embleton do.

I would have a place for Gooch. Like you say he is never anonymous. I have a feeling he will be a player Neil likes.

Only slipped up on Saturday because no-one was making a pass for him.

He ended up trying to do the impossible and failed, AN will have noticed.

I wouldn’t play Hoffman ahead of Patterson. Think Patterson looks better personally.

I know it's not as simple as this, but Hoffmann has 8 clean sheets from 24 games whereas Patterson has 1 from 9

We concede an average of 1.7 when Patterson is in goal compared to 1.3 when Hoffmann is in goal

Patterson is a good, young keeper but he never seems to get anywhere near the shots when he concedes.

Great thread as always RTB. Thanks again. I just don’t know what to say. Any home win will do. Not bothered how we play or who scores just get 3points and cheer us all up a bit.

I never have a problem with someone trying a shot from distance. So many City fans wanted Kompany to pass “that” goal. Even teammates were saying don’t shoot.

there were so many other things which got to me. Evans for one. The absolute anonymity of him for 88 minutes. That pisses me off far more than a young lad trying something special.

I will stick with my "at some point we will hammer somebody" prediction and go for 5-2. Stop f*cking about at the back and get 3 men upfront. Shoot on sight and just go for it. We need wins and more wins not draws or bloody losses

Thanks for the thread RTB - awesome as usual.

I think we'll get our act together tomorrow. The players are still skilful and as long as we don't strand Ross up front we'll win.

I'd love to see him play your second selection, that actually looks quite scary, but as we all know football isn't played on paper otherwise we'd already have won the league

He needs to do something pretty drastic to get a reaction from them so I'd be tempted to go for that as well tbh.
