The other bands did not begin with B. I put The Hollies for H. There were a whole host of other acts I could have put for several letters. I could have put Garth Brooks for B as you have probably heard of him. Some people have posted (what I consider) lists full of bilge from the 90s but personal tastes in music were not specified in the original question, just the 26 letters of the alphabet. If everybody liked the same thing the music industry would not exist. People of different ages like music of different eras: mine were the 60s, 70s and 80s. I would not expect a 30 year old to agree as they were not born. How long until someone comes up with the A-Z of rappers?
Can't be that great a life with 3 figure likes. Maybe post better content? This is an award winning site after all.
Why do you feel someone needs to be born to enjoy a certain era of music? Your first condescending post included the likes of Tchaikovsky...Were you born when he was recording?
You just won **** of the week for that statement, my likes are heartfelt, not cheap ****ty ones that you get because they feel sorry for you. Now **** OFF.
You need to go back and look at your original hypothesis. Tchaikovsky died in 1893 so there are no recordings, so recordings by various orchestras since then do not count. I suspect that most people born in recent years did not listen to their parents’ music so they would not list their artists on here. How stupid are you? Incredibly is the answer.
I would argue that the majority of people listen to music long people their time. I certainly do and so do mist people i know.
I know plenty of younger people that love music from before they were born. My daughter is one example, her favourite music is mainly from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Another example is favourite films and comedy acts. My favourite films are 30's, 40's and 50's black and white Hollywood films. Laurel and Hardy are my all time favourites of comedy. All of which were done long before I was born. It was my parents that got me interested in all of this.
Same with telly, this modern stuff is better produced using state of the art equipment but it lacks in the one thing that made old telly work and that is raw acting/comic talent. It can’t be coached either.
