Simon Grayson on radio Leeds after the game today said he has spoken to Kinnear and Orta and he was informed that there was money to spend in January but it was Bielsa who chose not to spend it he didn’t think there were players out there who would improve the squad
It's excuse after excuse isn't it. There was nobody who could have improved the squad out there. That's funny cos Villa could find some and Newcastle managed to spend about £100 million on improvements. Bielsa didn't want to sign players. They should have gone behind his back and signed some
If I was Radz… If we go down I’d offer Bielsa another years contract. If we stay up I’d not offer him a contract, I’d instruct Orta to bring in some players and then I’d get my new coach
I wouldn't offer him a contract full stop. I'd tell Orta to bring in a new raft of players then I'd bring in a new coach.
Unlucky boys, ref and VAR done everything possible to make sure utd got the Win there. We will slap them up for you in a few weeks so not all bad. Luv sucky X
Think we need to give him credit for what he achieved in the championship, if we went down we’d not attract a decent or better coach
The problem seems to be Bielsa has turned us round as a club and coached a bang average champion team into a competitive Premier league team. The downside he has turned 2 Spanish international and a German international into bang average players.
Yes and by coaching them to play out of position too... God bless the british sense of humour... Allah be praised.
He's a great Championship level manager but that's it. However in all reality we will stay up and it's going to be tight. Lucky enough Burnley, Watford and Norwich are utter garbage. The problem is staring us ion the face and it's time to change and move on.
Maybe it depends on how much money was available, after all if you pay peanuts you get monkeys(hope I can say that) but it’s true has Orta been shopping in the basement lower ground where all the dross hangs about
Calm down, calm down don't waste all your angst now, you'll have none left for after the next two games.
Having just watched the highlights I have to say the conditions looked appalling, not really suited to a passing game by the looks of things but it was the same for both teams. All the goals looked quite scrappy with errors from both sides, in some part down to the weather I guess. So onwards to Anfield another tough game. It's all still in our control but we need to start getting a few points soon, please.
The conditions are still appalling and thecrain and wind have not stopped. We are just not good enough and apart from james have no pace.
Just watched the goals and the last two of theirs were pathetic. We look scared to tackle.. What has happened to us. It was pascal at fault for the last one. The fans who turned up today and got drenched deserved better.
He looked to get done by a speculative flick from, I think Fernandez? and then it was all over. It did look like from what I saw that they deserved to win, the small crumb of consolation I have is that Ronaldo didn't score. I don't know what has happened to us defensively. I have never been overly impressed by Cooper but perhaps he organises the defensive better than those currently on the pitch, or am I clutching at straws?
