glad you enjoyed your night in wycombe tewkes shame we didnt play for the first 45 minutes, charlton kept the ball well and played some nice football in the first half on the deck,as you say second half a bit of hoofball when under pressure but you deserved the points.we missed our playmaker donelly in midfield and didnt really create enough when we had the ball.bwp if only wycombe strikers could learn from his movement and clinical finishing we wouldnt be where we are in the league.good luck for the rest of the season i just hope we can take points off sheff weds on saturday but if we play like we did in the first half i cant see it .Got home about 10 minutes ago - a game of two halves and no mistake.
First 45 minutes was just lovely to watch, ball on the floor, calm and patient play and the slide rule pass for the second goal...oh, just perfect.
Second 45 minutes showed a worrying trend - as soon as we're under pressure, the ball goes into the ionosphere. Why do we do this? We lose shape, we lose forward momentum, we cease to be an attacking force.
And once again, the substitutes came too late to make a difference.
Lovely ground (my first visit), beautiful pitch and very friendly staff and stewards.
Addicks support loud and committed - maybe 1200 there.
Three points, top of the league and I was sitting next to a really pretty redhead - the perfect way to spend an evening.

Seems anyone who's any good moves on.
Good luck for the season ,I see a 15 year old came on for you lets hope he`s allowed to develope with you and not snatched by a bigger club for next to nothingWell played last night. We gave you a decent game in the 2nd half and could've snatched a point, but you were good value for the win. The noise from the away end was excellent, there's been 2500 in there before making less noise than that. Maybe it was that drum helping things along! Good luck with the rest of the season, looking forward to a trip to your place later in the season.
