Yep. Nobody is going to want to play us right now. Which is why we'll go and lose to Norwich.

They also have games with Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester (tough if they get their game together).

He’s doubling and tripling down on Twitter. I can almost picture him frothing at the mouth as he pretends that people think Romeu is the best DM in the league (nothing like a good old straw man argument ) and then lists a mix of 50m plus players and players who have played two or fewer games as better than him. As if it proves something

Calling Guimares better when he hasn’t been picked for Newcastle yet is a leap. He might well be but it is odd that he is the one who hasn’t gone into the team.

Doesn’t seem worth giving him attention. If it was Matt saying it then maybe

At least @davecg69 could then have a break from match threads...

One silver-lining would be, if Newcastle are to be plunged into the icy abyss (the very thought :emoticon-0137-clapp),we just might have to send a rabid, snarling, bloodthirsty Canary, like an attack-dog after the Magpies.

We are pretty consistent this year actually.

    Form Home/Away/Last 10/Last 6

What a great game, so worth the trip.

My first game since arsenal away and looked such a different team, everyone fighting for every ball for the full 90 minutes.

A great all round team performance, great result and great for this run to continue.

Also great watching Pickford moaning and waving his arms about all afternoon.

Money not well spent for warchest Everton who seem to have spent all that money to play hoofball.

Oh he's a wally, no doubt.

Especially so when you consider he runs a football coaching course for kids, called Le Tissier's Tots (which in itself will be making his dad's reputation do most of the heavy lifting).

Now would you, if you were a father/mother want your football mad kid trained by someone who thinks Oriol is massively overrated?

    Not sure I would.

The very basics of using social media well as a marketing tool...

It could be argued that the 'extreme' opinion provided by Mitchell has produced exactly the reaction required - people are talking about him, and any publicity is good publicity. Put another way, if he had said that Oriel is quite good, it would probably have gone unnoticed, but now we're all talking about him...

Current form, I would suggest we should be after City and Pool as the team you would least like to face

Watching Pickford up close from just above the goal though, I have to say you can see (and hear) why he’s England’s No 1. Never stops shouting at his defence, exactly what a keeper should be doing. Reminded me a bit of Peter Shilton, the way he knew exactly what he wanted from the players in front of him, and how to communicate that.

Shilts always scrapped away the penalty spot and shouted TIME from what I remember from the family stand.
