They have been holding Ericsson back for this one. 1-0 Brentford. Nailed on. Never been so sure about anything in my life.
Yeah that's what I'm afraid of, world media interest and we'd be the villains if we ended up winning.**** that
After all the lads been through the last thing he needs is to come on for a 5 minute cameo and then being snapped clean in half by Burn before being scooped up and thrown in his pocket
ASM------------Wood--------------Fraser -----Big Joe--Shelvey--Willock------- Targett----Burn-------Schar--------Krafth ------------------Dubz--------------------- FFS I hope we get Manquillo back soon. What a joke Trippier and Manq get injured in the ****ing same ****ing match for ****s sake **** **** cufkcksdnfaonaosidnosa
I wouldn't be surprised to see Manq and ASM back for the weekend and I think we're playing possom a bit with Wilson too. I don't think he's too far away from a return to full training.
I think we might win well down there. Just got a funny feeling our players are bang up for it at present, full weeks rest, ASM possibly back fresher, I could see it going our way. This is the game I think Wood gets the monkey off his back to go with steady performances (yesterday aside). We know how difficult it is to pull yourself fully out of a rut. Their players will be looking down now thinking "Jesus ****ing titty christ, we are dropping like a stone!", Everton players will be the same. The momentum for us has come at the perfect time in the season, the reverse is true of these sides. Leeds are fully immersed too, they will have cursed Man C getting beat last night. Its means Liverpool are three points behind with their game in hand at Anfield against Leeds. I think they are going to get fully spanked. So those three clubs are in serious trouble. Burnley are picking up, we are picking up, and while Norwich got beat yesterday and the last couple have dented their momentum, like ourselves they went well for periods against both Liverpool and Man C in free swings. If they can take those losses against those two like we did, they can put pressure on. Its wide open. We have our foot on a couple of necks, we just need to snap them now and show a ruthless edge. If we can get the gap to the bottom three up to say 9 points at some stage between now and April, we can enjoy the end of the season. If so Eddie comes out of it with great credit. We can't ease off now, we have to keep this going because there will be further twists. 3-1 to the Toon.
Yeah I think that's possible too. I don't think Wilson is as bad as everyone thinks either, just a feeling. I think ASM will defo be back, and the way they were talking about Manquillo I think he could be too. I think Krafth will play, simply because with Trippier out he won't want to risk Manq, and also he will want to boost Krafth's confidence for the run in.
Being totally honest, aside from that ridiculous free kick he gave away which cost us the goal (there was some shocking marking after too), I actually thought he did a lot better yesterday. What did impress me was how much he took on board the need to get forward and make his wide man play going the wrong way. His delivery once he got there was ****, and his interchange with the wide man was poor, but the actual intent was correct in many ways. I just think he's a accident waiting to happen at times.
