Timing beats speed. Brook is and always has been Khans worst nightmare. Shame it didn't happen 10 years ago.
would have been a Much closer fight if both were in their prime. Could have seen a rematch if it were a close fight, but that’s AK done.
Yeah, I think it would have gone longer but ultimately Brook would have timed him eventually. Its Brooks main strength. I could never understand some people tipping Khan to give Mayweather problems. Mayweather would have just picked him off with counters. Khan is possibly the most entertaining British fighter I've seen. You just never knew what was going to happen in the next 10 seconds. His vulnerability in fights was his attraction. As for Brook....he had all the talent but never really cemented his legacy after beating Porter in his hometown. He could have been a top 10 all time British fighter but never really kicked on. The Golovkin fight was a huge mistake. You don't jump in weights to fight a monster like that and that fight ended him.
I didn’t think Brook had a performance like that left in him tbh, he was fantastic, albeit against a very static and far too easy to hit Khan who was way out of his depth in the end. Far play to the ref, the stoppage was right, as Brook was loading up on him with nothing really coming back. That’s the end for Khan, but I think Brook might fancy another big money bout.
