Oh come on, their recent success only truly started when they got given £700bn indirectly from PSG via Barca for Coutinho allowing them to go out and buy VVD and Allison. They had to spend big just like anyone else and that inflated money originated from an oil club.
I really don't think he's fine as a RB tbh...has moments but tends to overcommit. Hopefully, he will learn...fast!
How quick was Taylor to book Hugo for time wasting last night, how many times have we seen the likes of Foster waste minute after minute and finally get booked for about their tenth offence in the last 5 minutes, I mentioned the consistency word yesterday this was another glaring example of one rule for us and one rule for the clubs who pay more!
Phil Foden's day got worse: I think that this was at the boxing last night. Surprised at the lack of security, but he probably didn't need his mum getting in a fight with some Scousers.
Yeah I don’t see anything outstanding about him. Not quite sure what made Spurs pick him to sign out of everyone out there.
I could say similar for Spurs (the Bale money finally paying dividends in the Pochettino era as all of Eriksen + Lamela + Chadli collectively performed) . The Poool had an asset, sold it and the new assets purchased took them upwards to CL and PL wins and a higher baseline in the PL. Spurs did similar, but not as great with the new assets nor the baseline.
Two things from this footage Kulusevski, has to work on his celebration and the 4th official has some explaining to do about that reaction to our winner
So funny reading Peps bitter twattish comments. "They give the ball to Kane , they score...they do nothing else in the first half." "Second half the same...then the same in second half...ball to kane he scores..." Kulusevski scored and got an assist on his full debut at City's place. Son gets 2 assists. They score from a penalty and a keeper mistake which suggests we defended pretty well. "But...but...but...kane" ... Bitter, entitled twat
He’s a sore loser but then most winners are. Funny how he seems to struggle against Spurs no matter who the manager is.
He's lost to Pochettino, Mourinho, Espirito Santo and Conte in the league as City manager. I'm not sure that anyone else has lasted long enough in one job to face all of them, let alone lose to them.
Don't mind sore lovers but the sheer arrogance was breathe taking. VAR rightly ruled out the goal but the penalty was harsh imho. We had more attempts on target, defended excellently bar one mistake and showed character. He'd be better looking how they celebrated the equaliser ... very different to our reaction at equalising at Leicester for example. And as a side note the club should absolutely lodge a complaint about the 4th officials reaction to our winner... looks (at best) unprofessional and (at worst) corrupt. Impartial
Craig Pawson, for anyone that doesn't recognise him. He'll be reffing Wolves v Leicester later on today.
E If he hadn’t wasted all that money on Grealish he might have been able to make a an acceptable bid for Kane, but he had to buy a player he didn’t need,to stop anybody else getting him . Genius.? I don’t think so.
Oh, I had totally forgotten about Grealish , I avoid the pre match bollox and Sky did not mention him during the game , amazing what a £100 million will buy you today
1. Pep has a point, we only hired Kane to empty the bins, not score goals. 2. Good job Citeh didn't blow all that money on a guy who scores goals only whenever he is given the ball.
