For the first time this season I am worried. I always expected us to put a run of games together when we get a few bodies back but it looks like Bamford is out until at least next season so we hang all our hopes on Kalvin dragging us out of trouble. Our midfield is utter ****e and our front 3 don't look like they have goals in them at all. Genuinely concerned for the first time.
One point from Villa and Everton and how they are both playing we should and needed to take 6 points. We have 4 big games coming up and it is this one against Man U who we have the best chance of snatching a point. When I say chance, I do mean a very small one
Some great results for teams down the bottom today. Fair play to them and well done. Now everyone from eleventh place down is looking over their shoulder and it promises to be a thrilling end to the season with lot's of twists and turns before the relegation places are finally decided. This surely is what makes football exciting and worth putting all the time and effort in as a fan ?
Id rather the excitement of can we pinch a top 6 slot rather than avoid the drop. Don’t get me wrong if we avoid the drop I’ll celebrate it like we’ve won a cup final, the dust will settle and then I’ll question why? Celebrating 17th isn’t really ambitious is it? Am I being unrealistic in expecting more? I guess I am considering we’ve been out the top flight too long. The thing is, with Joffy up front, Summerville and Drameh ripping it up down one wing, Bate in the middle, Cresswell and Struijk at the back and then keeping a few of this seasons fails I’m pretty confident we’d bounce straight back. I kind of feel we need to hit the reset button already
Get your money on if we turn up and keep a tight defence we can win this one , Dan James to score 2 goals 2-0 forcast
Be positive Forza. They've been beaten by Boro, Wolves, Watford, Leicester, Villa, Drew twice with Southampton Also drew against Newcastle, Everton and Burnley. As long as Bielsa changes things round and makes us hard to beat, we have nothing to fear.
always said worst place for any team is mid table…. Boring second half of the season - nothing to play for and meaningless games. you can’t beat a relegation battle for drama and excitement god bless bielsa for his tiny squad and stubbornness, god bless radz and orta for not signing anyone in Jan… they just wanted to make things more interesting for the fans. and last but not least… god bless Tyler Roberts for point blank refusing to contribute to the team thank them all and enjoy the ride
They play 1 up front which means we will go with 4 at the back. I say 4 but it's really a back 2 with the full backs pushing on in to wide midfielders in possession with Koch acting as insurance. My main worry is they play one in the hole with options either side. That's right where our weakness is, Central midfield. Forshaw HAS to start alongside Koch with Rodrigo in front. Klich is a no go against these.
