Why tell them that then leave your best wide player on the bench in Clarke?

 

We've done better with managers rather than coaches.

I'm not totally against modern model shìte, I just think a manager should have the final say, a human touch to blend a team rather than a group of players.
Whatever, most of these players nowadays are over paid fannies and pìss me off FFS.

Ross didn't want players like Grigg FFS.

Agreed. He is probably seeing what's what re players etc, I'm sure they'll come into the team

 

Well to be honest if they've both failed I'd like to be in that camp and a few quid behind them

 

I thought we were poor at the back. Bereft in midfield and toothless up front.
A glancing moment showed what we could do with the goal but fannying about with the ball and poor team play got us our just rewards.

 

More a case of them creating the data by watching a player several times.

I have this overwhelming feeling our club is starting to drift and accepting life in league 1...... I look at Wigan and to a degree Ipswich who both have made a huge statements in their promotion ambitions with their transfers...admittedly for Ipswich, it didn't work straight away, but I can see them getting in the playoffs. The club I have supported since I was 5 years old is now (sadly) at the worst, lowest point in its existence. I will of course continue my love affair with SAFC, but as every week goes by I am growing immune and ambivalent to our endless decline and I sense a number of our fan base are starting to have similar feelings...its all so sad.

 

Won't cut it if he keeps play a flat 4-3-3.

 

Don't understand the insistence on playing 4 at the back. It hasn't worked all season but we keep trying it.

 

We were terrible yday. First half was utterly depressing stuff. Beyond predicable.

 

We don’t have the numbers to go with 3 CB’s/5 at the back. Our January business was atrocious.

 

Agree with this. I don’t think we’ve won playing 4 at the back, I may be wrong. It might help if we actually play a right back in their position instead of shoe horning people into those positions.

 

Agree with this also . The mind numbing passing of the ball across the back 4 whilst the other team get set into position then just launching the ball toward Stewart in the hope he is going to do something with it whilst isolated forward on his own. It just doesn’t work.

 

I know he's only been here 2mins but seeing Pritchard out wide and playing a high defensive line for the last 2 has drained the confidence out of me

 

Yep. Was truly abject. Not got a while I have been so far away from.what we are trying to do.

Be amazed if we make play offs.

 

Big errors. Prichard can not play out wide. Team should not be set like this.

 

It will be interesting to see if he changes it when Batth is fit and he plays the 3 centre half’s.
