Now I do believe Obi had the authority of the Manc to make this statement as it does sound official. I also note that Obi did say that when Willock scored (hand on heart he was the Joe I was speaking of) I would get the points. Obi didn’t say Joe (Willock that is) had to be first scorer for me to get the points just that “ when… Willock…score, you (I) get the points.” Hopefully the Manc is decent enough to give the points to me which his Deputy promised.
That’s a very persuasive argument Except that Dawson scored first. Edit: Sorry should have actually read your post before replying to it. Anyway - null points.
I also have a question for you about the Brighton - Burnley game. Was this a lucky typo on the score or did you actually mean to have a first scorer from the team who you weren't predicting to score?
Good use of the card by @Joelinton's Right Foot, with a day (plus the Man Utd - Brighton result) winning 14pts doubled up to 28, sees him stretch his lead at the top to 27pts. @cronemeister use of the card was not so beneficial. @Albert's Chip Shop in 2nd with 13 and @mustyfrog and @East Stand Heckler a point behind in 3rd. Couple more games today. @mustyfrog continues his inexorable rise up the table, although it helped that two of the people immediately above him (@GeordieHalfbreed and @Ben 10) forgot to predict.
It was a lucky typo However, it still doesn't make up for the fact I did it the other way around a couple of weeks ago and missed out on 5 points when Arsenal beat Wolves 1-0, or the fact that I nearly forgot to predict the Man Utd Brighton game so made a last minute prediction when my standing order would have got 8 points
