This brought tears to my eyes today-these guys are super legends and should have a statue put up at Ashton Gate Stadium to remember them. Great day-Great Reception-Great win. Under Nigel Pearson we are heading in the right direction bring on next season with his transfer window.
It was very nice to watch the celebrations over here on Vancouver Island and how nice to add 3 valuable points. I remember most of those players and I take my hat off to each and every one of our heroes. As an after thought I too would like to see a statue or possibly something else, such as a naming of a portion of the ground.
I had been a fan for 30 years attendee at home and away for best part of 20 years .. couldnt believe it was all going to end. From 1980 to end of 8o's was a dire period in this countries history over 3.3million unemployed, and our team bankrupt............. hey 40 years before that was full scale war in EUROPE! ....
