Suppose he is a utility player, but best in central midfield.

I agree Phillips wasn't at his best but he is the fulcrum of the team. Nobody can do it as well as he does. It's the simple things he does that makes our whole team tick. The biggest part of our game is getting the ball forwards quickly to our wingers and Phillips really zips those passes out wide or he can send one 40 or 50 yards more often than not. The fact he allows the defenders to join in the attack whilst he slots in comes naturally to Koch but Koch can't pass it the same. Forshaw can zing the passes but he doesn't have the same positional sense. Kalvin is the whole package in one player. It depends if he can come back in some kind of form after a long lay off.

Exactly. We have no goalscorers in the squad. The wingers and attacking midfielders have created nothing regularly enough. I don't even think Gelhardt is the answer like most. He is very much head down, arse up and run at the goal type at the moment. I'm afraid we just have nobody.

I'm hoping that quicker balls feeding those wingers might give them a few more opportunities. Please note the word 'hoping' because at this point we have to hope that the players we have start performing better.

I could really fall out with Mr Bielsa tomorrow, not because of the result but who he plays, just keeping my powder dry at the moment

I'm the other way this season. I'm not too angry at Bielsa but the players have been woeful. Far too many simple mistakes, miscontrols, poor passes, lack of concentration, lack of intelligence, lack of professionalism, poor finishing, not tracking runners.

Yes Bielsa could have done things differently but if Harrison and James can't cross the ball at all on a regular basis then they have to carry alot of the blame. Raphinhas last two performances have been unacceptable. Bamford injured himself celebrating a goal. Etc etc.

The players have really hung Bielsa out to dry. It's time for El Loco to put his foot down on a few.

    Not Gelhart.

Bamford has missed 90 percent of the season but has still played 150 minutes more than Gelhardt

I've no problem with him not using Gelhardt but he should be playing for the 23's. My main issue is not using Rodrigo up top when Bamford is injured or even Roberts who is actually a striker. If they aren't good enough to step in where they naturally play then they aren't good enough to play out of position elsewhere. Instead we play a winger in James up front.

    Why sign them?

Apart from the injuries, Leeds have just not played well this season.

When you're not playing well, the last thing you should try to do is to go toe to toe with your opposition BUT that is what Bielsa insists on, by his man for man marking.

He is easily make us harder to beat, but he refuses.

    To me, I blame Bielsa.

It's the unfortunate truth, and it's about time fans take him off his pedestal. Yes he got us promoted, but he spent the most money.

He has no common sense. The squad is run ragged, and they are pushed to the limit, the players can only keep it going for so long before they break down!

They're around 4/1 to win it, so yeah not exactly wide open.

Hoping that gives Spurs the confidence to beat Burnley and then come back down to earth next Saturday! Oh and we end the title race once and for all midweek. Not asking for much!

Not only that although bielsa is God sometimes got to think why at 2-2 against man utd that we put 5 at the back and do a 5-4-1 formation we might have then sneaked a goal to win it 3-2
