At least we gave you a game for an hour this time , but the quality shone through in the end.

    Zero complaints

Hugely impressed with the tactics, performance and attitude today. We look a different team when Normann is is match fit and can start. He's my MotM though Rashica and Sargent were also brilliant. Smith got his 8/10 from every player today. In spite of the other results, if we can play like that for the rest of the season we have a chance.

I'd make either Hanley or Williams my MOTM, but I thought everyone played well. Aarons looked focused after his recent problems, and I agree that Normann added bite and drive into the midfield. McLean and Rashica were good, too. My only disappointment was Pukki, who should have done better on the one-to-one. He worked hard, as always, but somehow the touch wasn't there. Maybe the pressure of being our only likely goalscorer is getting to him.

Yeah, it'd be great if Rashica and Sargent could start knocking them in now that they have got on the scoresheet.

Will Rashica definitely be awarded that goal, or will it be our second-best striker OG?

It's Rashica's as the shot was on target when the CB stuck his boot out. Sargent got the assist.

Grant "not a PL defender" Hanley was excellent again today, but so were every other City player. Sargent was subbed because he had run himself to exhaustion Bure. Aarons had his best game for some while as well. Play like this for the rest of the season and the Great Escape is possible. As long as Teemu finds his shooting boots that is.

A week before Southampton, time to prepare and give them a stuffing!

We have had rather a history with Saints. We have been promoted and relegated alongside them on numerous occasions.
