that defence is piss poor, they had time to get back and stop them goals, we got caught twice on the break and this has been going on for weeks this will finish being the worst in our history. Duffing Tues and might not go back this season or next season.
Performances are getting worse each week. That was pretty awful. If you dont start a game properly you wont finish a game properly. Some of those players need taking out for a while, others need to step up big time. For much of the season we played a high press, sharp passing game that overwhelmed teams. That style of football would win this division. Somehow they have stopped doing it. I cant put my finger on it but if we cant get back to controlling possession and forcing errors we wont get back into the play offs. How we can go from the team in 2021 to score the most goals and earn the most points, to this is mind boggling. Not sure I have ever seen a Sunderland team fall so quickly. Cant help but think playing those games when we could have called off with Covid should have been a mid season break for the younger lads. You look at the MK Dons team and ours and I would swap happily. They are so much more balanced as a squad. We have really shot ourselves in the foot in the January window I think. When the players and coaches needed help they werent given it, with the exception of Matete. The two goals today we conceded were truly awful. How they can let themselves be exposed at the back for their second is beyond me. I try to be a positive glass half full guy. I worry this cant be turned round quickly enough. I just dont see enough in our squad to think we can do it. I suspect we overperformed in the first half of the season in terms of points and goals. We are of course underperforming now but I wonder if we can get back to the level we were at again this season.
Deserved at least a draw today undone by two break away sand a slow defence not used to pushing so high. First time this season we have been combative in midfield though thought the shape looked good need to create more and work on the centre half’s being turned but very encouraged. Give this manager a few weeks and think we’ll hit the playoffs on the up. KTF chaps
Any confidence we had is completely and utterly gone. So naive at times as we showed today. Had the game there to take at 1-1, they started to sit back and timewaste and then its a minging mistake and we end up with nothing.

Until the stench of Madrox has been disinfected from our club we are only heading in one direction. If Donald and Salmon Pants are not driven out of the club by protests or whatever the club will die. They are literally bleeding the club to death.
not to get in the play offs would the ultimate embarrassment for a club the size of Sunderland in the 3rd tier of English Football....I'm sick to my stomach the way the club is going right now.
Literally couldn’t give two ****s about them. They don’t pick or motivate the team. Even if they were involved somehow in the transfers etc our squad is (on paper) more than good enough. Confidence is shot to piece and I can’t see how we can fix that quickly.
