It’s affecting me leaving my house. The roof of next door’s garage is now on my car and there’s a tree blocking the road outside! Going out is overrated anyway!

Really enjoyed this. Maryam is new at Tifo but this is such a good, nuanced tale on Manchester United and their awful, Frankenstein defensive structures. Although we’re obviously not the greatest, I always appreciate the fact that we have a unified team and structure which allows us to punch above our weight and be competitive with basket cases of brilliant players like United, Spurs et al.

I'll imagine a lot of their fixtures are on hold until Trippier is fit. Obviously the PL will definitely hold them to account for not fulfilling fixtures*

Newcastle v west ham, a club owned by murderers vs a club that supports animal abuse... Can't they both lose?

Very slow start by West Ham. Looking really dodgy at the back.

Interesting to see how long ASM is out for. Hopefully three weeks...

Newcastle fans might get to see how good Targett’s crossing is, with ASM not playing.
    Already put one beauty in.

West Ham have been shocking so far.
Passing stats after 25 minutes is 44 with 67% accuracy.

    Oh dear, Rice.
All the praise the commentators have heaped on him, for 45 minutes, ends up with him getting an assist for the Newcastle equaliser.
    1-1 HT.
Newcastle have worked hard and could possibly be ahead with more composure in the West Ham box.
West Ham, defensively, have been all over the place and going forward they have been quite poor as well.
Benrahma has put in a couple of decent passes and Bowen had a shot tipped onto the bar, but nothing from either side should frighten us when we play them, based on this game.

It's increasingly difficult to see anyone but the current bottom three going down.

Yep. Glad when the final whistle went.
If MOTD shows that game before ours, then ours will have to be a really awful game.

All this crap about Saints players going down injured around the 70th minute so players can take on extra fuel. So I’m watching closely - a Newcastle player goes down around 70th minute, but nothing said …..

I must have missed this. Has there been a change in the rules? What are they allowed to do?

Burnley will have to win their 3 games in hand to get out ….. not sure I can see that happening to be honest …..

There was a news article picking up on a “Saints tactic” of going down injured around 70 minutes …. Load of tosh in my opinion ……
