    Think I’ll end up grabbing a taxi from there with some Everton fans.

    Trains carnage and I hate to stick the boot in on the ground staff on the frontline at Waterloo (as they’re just passing on the muddled messages they hear) but SWR as useless as ever at organising contingencies or being clear with people.

    At least being in Basingstoke at 1pm gives me a fighting chance… hope you manage to make it!

    Spent last night in the pub with a few Everton fans. Was enjoyable, apparently they are going to win easily today as “Frank effect” and also they’ll take Hassenhuttl at the end of the season when he decides he wants to move to a proper club who can win things.

    Salisu is utter **** compared to Michael Keane but Ward-Prowse could do a job for them coming off the bench when Allan tires

    And his new 'Spurs' mate too? Between them both they really like scoring against us, so a bit of a concern there. Defence needs to be on best form today, again! Think we'll nick it though as long as Ralph maintains his recent form with selection and substitute decisions.
