I remain to be convinced. He sent our top prospect under the wing of Joey Barton and Matty Longstaff to League 2 Macclesfield. This is the same plank that rang Northumbria's finest claiming his house had been broken into and trashed then realised he just hadn't tidied up before going out ffs.

Also lets not forget his MA ass kissing antics on Sky

I think Shola can definitely do a job.......for the next 2 to 3 months before he's replaced by a competent loan set-up.

Think he's doing a job. My issue is that Elliott Anderson should have been going out to a championship side and not Bristol Rovers and Watts should also be.

Setting up the loan deal he is doing poor.
The rest I'd argue he's doing well with.

It's hard to forget Shola's Ashley antics on Sky Sports. To me, he near enough wrecked the few happy memories I had of him.

The only thing Shola gets any credit from me for was the back heel to Shearer for the record breaker.

Harsh. He was handed his debut by Rafa then Bruce came in. Played for England u19s. Highly rated left sided big defender.

It was harsh…. but wasn’t aimed at Anderson, more at our Loans manager…. badly worded by me. Shola’s just Shola, ex-player handed a job description and a salary having no track record of similar work; I just think we need to recruit experienced pros (from the business side rather than pitch side). Maybe I’m still being harsh, it’s instinct rather than knowledge on my part that makes me view things through the cheap/amateurish/Ashley lens. We’re not ‘that’ club anymore.

anyway - Shola In, Shola Out

Could be Tauntaun - something Star Wars-ish I think.

Anyway, I’ve got some of my people on it
