Amid the doom and gloom, it was good to see that the club recognised the work done by this lady. Watford FC is delighted to announce the renaming of the Family Stand to the Ann Swanson Family Stand. A true off-the-pitch hero during the late 1970s and 1980s, Ann’s work as leader of the Junior Hornets and founder of the Family Enclosure meant she was the key driver in Watford FC becoming ‘The Original Family Club’. There must be plenty of younger fans who would have said, who? Work it out. It is a long time since the youngsters gathered in front of the old main stand to receive their birthday cards.
Congratulations to her . Well deserved . Fine work encouraging the younger fans to come and enjoy the games .

Everton game moved to Sunday 20th March . But that is FA cup weekend and seeing as they play Boreham Wood next round will probably be in that anyway . So date will change again in all probability .
