Here's an interesting on for you. My dad had a fossil/crystal collection, most of the crystals came from when he worked down the fluorspar mines in Weardale. Look very closely and you'll see a gas bubble trapped in the crystal. The bubble actually moves about 1cm from side to side when the crystal is moved.
