But they're from 'big' clubs, so that's OK as they must be genuinely injured. OK, not Richarlison, but three out of four ain't bad (to misquote Meatloaf).

Fair point, but scriptwriters never get the credit they deserve.

Very true - though if I wanted to be a “famous person”, I’d choose Bernie Taupin :emoticon-0103-cool:

I wonder if the Spurs game is included in those stats? The minutes of treatment of Broja needed after being elbowed in the head in the 70th min, resulting in a goal being incorrectly awarded; would have been the ideal time to underhandly take on board some tactics and an bit of carb.

I mentioned a while back about the 60 min sit-down by one of our players, normally a striker, and i think there is something in us gaming the system for energy levels. But then we don't behave like Spurs or heaven forbid, Wolves, so screw em :)

Do we all start doing a 'Whoooooooah' in the 60th minute tomorrow like for an opposition goal-kick until one of our players goes down :emoticon-0102-bigsm

But there was absolutely no opportunity to stop the game, until Spurs scored. Or something...

Change it up and crunch an Everton player so they need treatment, then blame them for giving us time for a rest.
If it does happen and the Everton player goes off for treatment, then we will know that Lampard isn’t so laid back about it.

Should be sold out every week if things are done right. You don't get many cities the size of Southampton with just one club in the FL, let alone the fact we are premier league and there is no major rugby team to compete with.

It's so nice going to go a football match when (a) we're playing well, and (b) the result doesn't matter.

Pressure off, can just go down there and enjoy it.

Yes, looking forward to this, although weather sounds crap and I hope there are not too many problems on the roads from Kent after today.

Plus, not been to a game where saints have scored yet this season, so hope I don't jinx things.

I've only been to 3 games this season and Saints have scored 11 goals so hopefully I'll cancel you out!

Be warned everyone. Today is my 50th birthday and me and all the lads will be in attendance. Last big occasion that coincided with Saints game and my mates was my stag do in November 2005. I was in the crowd dressed as Admiral Lord Nelson as we took a 3-0 lead against Leeds at half time. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how it ended….,

Although disappointed to be on the receiving end of that (3-0 with 20 minutes left if I recall), it was one of the best comebacks I have ever seen.

    Edit: Happy Birthday!!
