True enough we do need wins but the season is not going to be turned round in one game. I would be happy with a win it goes without saying, but a draw would not be the end of the world.

It sums up where we are and how far we have fallen that a home draw with MK Dons is acceptable

Can't say I'm looking forward to this. We're by far a better team but our fitness problems being so severe mean we're a sitting duck untill it's under control. I'm hoping a week with no game and a fresh presence at the AoL has helped blow away the cobwebs.

Think a very Sunderland 1-1 is on the cards

Don't ask me why, I know our current form has been poor to say the least, just a gut feeling I'm going for a 2-0 Stewart & Winchester.HTL.

@RTB well done again. At least one thing is consistent to do with SAFC. Going for a 3-1 (Stewart, Clark and Defoe).

Cracking thread again RTB. It’s difficult but an improvement in performance and avoiding defeat wouldn’t be a disaster against a very good Mk Dons side with a cracking young manager. 1st goal will be very important if we are going to win the game . Hopefully the crowd get behind the lads and save there frustrations until after the game. Close game hopefully we can shade it.

Cheers for another great thread RTB.

This, in my opinion, is as tough a game as we have for the rest of the season. MK are setup to give us lots of problems and not a team to play when out of confidence. That said Neil is a fast starter as a manager and after only 1 day with the players before last weekend this is perhaps his first genuine game. It will be interesting to see how he sets up and how much the players have bought into him. They have seemed utterly disheveled recently, and much worse since the last manager left.

I have been impressed with Neil in the media appearances. I do think he has hit the nail on the head with the likes of Defoe and Roberts and their fitness. It doesnt sound like we should expect much from Defoe particularly for a while yet. I am like a broken record but I would like to see a 433 now.

    Team news
Neil claimed that Danny Batth and Thorben Hoffmann could be in contention to return for the Lads, but Lynden Gooch is likely to remain sidelined for the weekend.
The Head Coach then explained that good progress is being made in Lee Burge’s recovery from heart inflammation, whilst Aiden McGeady, Luke O’Nien and Nathan Broadhead continue their comebacks over the course of the coming weeks.

If you look back at the team that day, we're only missing Flanagan.

Frustrating watching Wigan predictably dropping points. The last few weeks look to have cost us badly

9 points from their last 18 available… <doh> What a chance we could’ve had, man. Frustrating is an understatement.
