Got a **** ton of driving to do tomorrow mind, and it'll still be windy as. About five hours this side and i'll try to do seven hours in France. Delightful!
I'm off to the Jurrasic coast tomorrow for a short break. Gonna do some fossil hunting with the little un. Apparently it's best after a storm as stirs up all of the erosion Hoping to find some of these please log in to view this image
Drain pipe has come down (at mother-in-laws in South Wales) - noise of the wind is quite incredible - took the old girl's recycling bins down to the end of the drive - have weighted them down - looked up the road - carnage - rubbish scattered all over the road with many recycle crate lids blown away ...
Ammonites, my dad used to take us fossil hunting on the Yorkshire Coast when we were kids. Them and belmonites, tricky buggers to get out in one piece
Yeah remember my brother finding some up that way when we were kids, near Robin Hood's Bay We're off to a place near Charmouth tomorrow, some of the best fossil hunting grounds in the UK Hoping this storm will have exposed some whoppers
I got home at 2:45, woke up naturally at 6:30 and went gym. Feel like death after industrial amounts of caffeine and stodgy food.
Stuck on A9, not moved an inch for about 20 minutes, lorries stuck on opposite carriageway up to here, so presumably it's the same this side.
