Whatever!!! We beat Chelsea, this time last year we were drawing with Bristol City. This time this year we've beat Chelsea, Go on, pinch yourself!!! We beat Chelsea, and I was there. Lost to Scunthorpe not long ago, now we've beat Chelsea, I love it! You should of been there. These are the moments in football where you have to be part of it.
After watching the match again and this time taking my emotion out of it, I have to admit that i was more than a little harsh with this thread. Of course i was delighted with the result. I never expected 3pts and i suppose that after the two sendings off my expectations got the better of me. I truely wanted QPR to score 2-3 more goals in the second half and really announce our arrival back in the big time. After reading the posts here it struck me how most people did not give a sh1*e about the performance, the result is all that matters. And you were right. The result will always show 1-0 and you dont get more than 3pts regardless of the performance. It was not my intention to come across as negative after such a magnificent result, i just wished we had of kicked on and won in style. But if i have learned anything from supporting QPR through thick and thin its that we dont do things the easy way. Well done to the team and NW and his management.
**** thread, Would you rather we played well and lost ???? We beat a top 3 team and are 3 points closer to consolidating and staying up. If we can get to January and still be midtable we can start building and have half a chance of staying up. Enjoy the 3 points and gloating rights, why are some fans never happy.
All that I would say at this point is that we are QPR, and do not really give a **** what the Chelsea fans are saying on this board
Very harsh indeed NUTS but you modified your position well in the end. What a time for my Computer to jack it in. I'm sat here in an Internet Cafe trying to keep tabs on all the stories. Great stuff in handling those Chelsea boys who came on whinging and crying. What a win. Absolutely brilliant. Hopefully I'll be back up and running soon (sorry to disappoint some! ) U RRRRRRRRRRRRRR's!
For a minute there Swordster i thought you'd done a bunk. Its been far too positive here recently, we need your doom laden thoughts on Buz to keep us grounded
Welcome back swords, was worried that you had been swept away with the awful rain at home. You are turning into my moral conscience on this board. I do need to be brought back to earth sometimes.
Cheers mate. I'm telling you....the atmosphere in the ground on Sunday was unbelievable. We, the fans, certainly played our part in that win.
Yeh Col, we were really the 12th man Sunday. We beat chelsea both on and off the pitch, and the reaction from their players, management, and supporters, with a couple of exceptions, shows it really got up their spinal column.
You expresses that nuch better than me Col! Has anyone noticed that AVG has looked redder and redder with every appearance in front of the cameras since Sunday. Yesterday evening the red patches had began to go over his whole head. Would have thought that the G in AVG was for Gorbachov, except that he acts like a bigger baby than Adel.
Andre Villas-Boas, or something similar, Chelsea manager. My mistake, I thought he was a Goas and an AVG - too many letters there for me this morning! Whatever, he's getting increasingly wound up since Sunday, Chelsea have 3 FA charges against them from Sunday at last count.
Thanks Oslo. When asked to comment about AVB and his ref outburst Warnock had a nice put down. "When I was his age I used to blame the ref too when we lost!"
