https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60408906 Manchester United have been charged with failing "to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" in their win over Brighton. I Bet they get away with it!
What a story! Hope they locate. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60400822?at_custom2=facebook_page&at_custom1=%5Bpost+type%5D&at_custom3=BBC+News&at_campaign=64&at_custom4=31A7310A-8F41-11EC-8177-0C6C96E8478F&at_medium=custom7&fbclid=IwAR3HZIslJ0-6el-SrvQ0sGWuAix1IMZqRahrP4DvmmNHLMQfF4YxuNBnE1g
I made the mistake of looking at the Swindon tweet. A bunch of misery guts calling it fake - claiming the handwriting is too good and kids that age get free school meals. What a world we live in
Gotta admit I was thinking the handwriting was far too neat when reading it. Suspiciously good spellings as well. I guess mum helped out. Either that or he puts my handwriting to shame.
Yep happens all too often especially on social media. Even on supposedly business type sites; you get hooked by a nice story - don’t read the comments. Fallen for it for a few times & now refuse to read past the initial post. Can be absolutely devastating.
A huge number of stories on the internet are fake though. I’m always skeptical, and am a little bit with this one too. I’m not sad enough to actually tweet about it though haha.
The most convincing part of it is that he starts right off by saying his mom is poor. That’s a child’s subtlety right there. I don’t think someone faking it would be so, er, clever.
England to play two nations league matches at Molineux (one behind closed doors). Good to see them taking matches around the country again though I suspect we won't get a go. FA Cup semis next please.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/60457568 A perfect (one left-footed, right-footed and headed), natural (three consecutive) hat trick of own goals...that has to be a first in high-level competition, right?
