    Match Preview;
    Just over the disappointment of the Millwall and Barnsley results, more the performances, and now we welcome Hull City to the Kiyan Prince. Hull City are 20th, but 10 points ahead of 21st place Reading. They've won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five games. Their top scorer so far this year is Keane Lewis-Potter with 7 goals. A scroll through their squad, and many will recognise Tom Huddlestone, a very good player in his prime, who is now in his second spell with Hull City and heading towards the end of his career...and also Matt Ingram, who was in the list of 'players who have played for both' when I first put this thread up. :emoticon-0138-think Hull were bought in January by a Turkish media mogul, Ali Acun Ilicali, thus ending their controversial 11 year ownership by the Allum family. They really have been messed around, and given how well they were doing at one point, I can't help but feel a little bit sorry for their fans.

    As for us...time to stop the rot. Two bad losses in a row, and two poor performances. The most obvious place to lay blame is with the management, and they'll understandably point to injuries, a busy fixtures list and players being absent for the AFCON, but essentially, it has been the same for everyone. We are at home, to a team very low in the table, and I'd really like to see a starting eleven that will have a go from the off. I've seen enough passing across the back four, passing forward and then back again in the past few games. I'd like to see Gray and Willock start, potentially just behind Dykes, with instructions to run all afternoon and either play off Dykes or make space so the ball isn't lost every time it is played forwards. I'm sure those with greater tactical know-how will pick holes in that plan, but surely we have to try something different!

    Enjoy those who'll make it...team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    Here’s the view from Row H
    D7923151-3F28-4911-831E-64902BFCC9A7.jpeg
    It’s up some stairs. All seats in our ground are cramped, to put it mildly. And where these seats are there will be ‘banter’ from the home fans in the Ellerslie Road stand right next to it.

    I can also highly recommend Hammersmith Hospital should things get too exciting. Just a short taxi ride from the ground and some exceptional people have been born there over the years. :emoticon-0116-evilg

    Seriously mate, there is a lack of space and expect the x block to serenade her with “who ate all the pies”

    Do you know if Hull have sold their full allocation of tickets? If not there might well be space to move about on the upper tier of the School End, perhaps find a couple or more seats together. Wherever is spot on, there really is no space in the seats, which means a lot of people will stand, not great for the view and probably not an option for the heavily pregnant….

    Yeah it’s all the away fans standing that I’m worried about :emoticon-0102-bigsm hoping there’s some generous people that will let her sit near the front row. Think we’ve sold out nearly everything except the restricted view seats.

    Best of luck Saturday!

    Given tomorrow’s storm which seems to be one we should take seriously - two members of my family told not to go in to work already - I’m psyching myself into not being too disappointed when the trains are cancelled on Saturday while they clear the debris away…..

    Last time I was there, I couldnt get into the Springbok pub. There are are a couple of bars around Shepherds Bush green. I assume they're still there. Westfield centre is a decent eatery option. Enjoy your day.

    I wouldn’t recommend the springbok, now called the Queens Tavern, although better than it was, it’s still very much a home fans only pub. There are a couple of pubs for away fans around Shepherd’s Bush green or as you say Westfield.

    I'm going early and bold on my prediction: Amos to start and absolutely boss this game.
