Good shout that. Can only add most of the teams in this division have been building a lot longer than we have and sacked a few mangers on the way..
The demand for Potter will grow and grow if he continues to post performances like that? I heard the final bid for him in that window was £14 million, how much at the end of the season if he progresses? Every player's for sale if the money is right..
Not according to Acun before the window closed. Why would we sell if we're building a promotion challenging squad?
I think there’s more chance of Wilks leaving in the summer than KLP. Only way I see him leaving in the summer is if he tries to push it himself and leaves the club little choice but to cash in. Hopefully, Allahyar comes good and we’re not left completely in the **** without a young, promising forward should that happen.
Acun never sold him in that window, fair play to him. What if Potter fancies his chances in the Premier League and we're offered £20-£25 million?
As Acun said, he would tell KLP that it's too soon for the move. I think Acun expects to throw everything at it next season and if it doesn't work, he'd let KLP leave.
I’m not fully convinced about KLP yet, great at taking people on but still hasn’t learnt the final and most important bit.
Yeah hopefully back for QPR they seem there for the taking at the minute. Would give Longman a rest as he hasn’t been at it at all these last 2 games. Yeah their really isn’t much between them at all, Forss is probably quicker and more technical. Eaves is bigger and stronger. He looked like a competition winner when he came on tonight bar a few cleared corners in the dying minutes. Too interested in a physical battle sometimes. Hopefully see something more from Forss soon but neither of them seem capable of playing as a loan striker on current evidence.
Probably a new RB, a creative mid to challenge/support Honeyman, and a proper striker or two. Sign Baxter on a permanent, maybe get another CB in as well, and then I think we're looking decent.
Not a lone striker. Maybe he’s still settling in but his decision-making has been quite poor so far and he doesn’t seem to win any aerial or ground duels. He’s not particularly quick either and he’s missed some sitters already so I’m not quite sure what his strengths are.
I assume he was talking about the shot he had from right of goal that was just wide of the left hand post. Bit of a scramble and Longman (?) pushed it onto him to shoot?
Central, need a Norwood type player which I think Walsh was meant to be. Also need a proper 10 like Gibbs White was for them as Honeyman whilst he gets the assists on the stats isn’t very creative in my opinion he’s more suited to arriving late for goals and winning the ball back. Definitely a right back and hopefully Baxter permanently. Will probably need a striker or 2 and another wide player. Imagine their will be a big overhaul in summer with a lot of players going. Eaves, Cannon, Moncur, Tyler Smith being the ones I imagine going first.
