Well at least we know the camaraderie that was built pre Shota still exists..

We deserved the point. Battling performance against a decent team. Thought the defence looked much tighter and better organised than under McCann. KLP was brilliant wish we had another like him. UTT

    Some point that.

Starting to wonder if that "experienced centre-half" I was arguing for in the window would really improve us that much.

    Enjoyable game to watch.

    Happy with a point.

Looking more solid at the back.

We were muscled out of it too much though.

That’s the KLP everyone’s been begging for really front footed for the full game. Very good point against one of the most experienced champ sides in the division.

It would have in other games, today we coped without one. Jones was very solid in midfield as he could drop into defence with ease when needed, maybe that's the solution.

Last one for tonight knackered! Anyone think Shota has got KLP to accelerate with the ball to pass the defender rather than what he seemed to do before which was to wait for the guy to commit? It didn’t work . Comments please to PO Box …. that’s for the oldies too

Noticed it with Fleming too, was very effective at drawing fouls or skinning players.

Sprinting onto the ball all game was making some very experienced defenders look average tonight. Fleming and him are the partnership for the long haul.

I don’t want to put it all down to formation but Eaves seems to lose all sense of ability when we play 4-3-3 4231 451 or whatever

He's been like a new signing Fleming (and a valuable one) ... game time under the old regime... I think not...

Longman was very close to replicating the Bournemouth goal.

We’ve solved a big issue we’ve had all season though of leaking stupid goals. Which may be the aim in games like this, hopefully we can be more expansive in games where we can take control abit more.

Elder one of McCann’s favourites. Did well today though in right back, which I thought was an odd substitution at the time. Don’t want him to stick with it though.

Thought Elder was very serviceable tonight completely out of position. We now have two very good LBs at our disposal.

Excellent hard earned point against a good side who normally grind teams down. Backs to the wall at times but as the game wore on we looked organised and determined to shut them out. Going forward KLP has a few flashes of quality but other than that our game plan was counter attack and try and Nick one. Don’t see us going down but we need some cohesive experienced players who can keep possession better when under the cosh.

I think our defensive record is upper mid table. We just need it to click up front really.
