As I said on the other thread, 100% minus 20% of Sartori's share equals 80% If Sartori has no voting rights (didn't he have to give them up to run for office in Uruguay?), how much is enough to control that 80% that's left? 41%. Exactly what KLD owns. Do you think it was a number plucked out of the air? Don't **** yourself, the chuckle brothers are nowhere near the decision making process. The numbers are different to what we expected, that's all.
I've just said 'over the road' (although not sure why I bother). I'm not massively bothered by the percentage announcement to be honest. I admit, it's not exactly what I expected, but on a high level I trust KLD 1000% more than Donald. Sartori comes across to me a massive asset to the club. He's got the 'ear' and the respect of some mega rich individuals (as has KLD), and you never know when you're going to need those contacts. Methven is a mouthpiece pure and simple, not enough clout to be of worry. KLD came into this with a plan and a lot of extremely experienced football/business people behind him for advice. Plans will inevitably change depending on how the football side is going and also how other business side of things change. One thing I'm sure of is KLD and his family have a huge history in football and is massively respected for it. He wants to make his name and his families name even bigger and even more respected just like his dad did. No way on God's earth will he/they contemplate being made to look like fools by a tinpot small time insurance salesman like Donald. I reckon we chill out, have a bit of patience and we'll see the benefits over time. It's taken years and years to get as low as we've felt recently, and it might take a few years to get the good times back.

Very nice summation and analysis. And it makes a lot of sense as to where 41% comes from. But if this was the case they’d be falling over themselves to tell us. They want to put a positive spin on it. Telling us what you’ve posted here would be that positive spin. That’s why I don’t think its true. Perhaps we will find out tomorrow night.
Disappointing, perhaps more disappointed I’m not as shocked to hear this. The majority position is nowhere near as firm or clear as ‘advertised’. future plans? we’re going nowhere without investment and the two muppets hanging on to such a big chunk of shares.
That makes a lot of sense. However I don't remember anything about Sartori having "non Voting" shares.
Except I have no recollection of JS giving up voting rights. Had he become president then he might have had to put his shares in a blind trust but how could he currently have his shares in a blind trust and have a seat on the board? This 41% figure was obviously chosen so that JS held a balance of power between Madrox and KLD. But it doesn't change the fact that KLD was giving us the Kyril big bollocks spiel but in reality he didn't have the load to shoot that he told us he had.
I thought we were gaining another member or a change to the share structure at the end of Jan? Has that went the same way as Roy Keane?
Does anyone really think that Donald suddenly started paying transfer fees for players for the crack or the more likely scenario that KLD has changed the footballing strategy...
Agree, hoping its KLD wanted in no matter, with the plan to get rid of SD when he can. Clearly our strategy has changed & we have invested heavily in the back ground, setting up structure, scouting etc is not cheap....plus lets remember who destroyed that, no way SD suddenly decided to rebuilt it. KLD clearly pulling the strings.although this is far from ideal, we need some positive news regarding this. Understand everyone not happy, me included, but at this time focus needs to be on our form so we get out tgis fxcking division
Stewart Donald didn't have any money to do it, I just want him gone now like he has made this mess all by himself like, obsessed with saying popular things from the start and it's now catching up to him, he bit off more than he could chew though with our club
Which he is entitled to do but we do need him gone by hook or crook, I'm so angry at some of our own fans tonight mind they either don't know and are speculating or are deliberately misleading people around how the club is being run, KLD is running the club with complete autonomy the shares are having no impact at this point and if we were to get to the championship there will be another change on shares as Donald will not be able to maintain his 34% stake due to costs.
